IANUS Simulation GmbH is a young Enterprise based in Dortmund, originally starting
off as a spin-off-company from a group of professor Turek, from the Institute of
Applied Mathematics, TU Dortmund.
One of the major goals of IANUS is to transfer knowledge from universities to the
business world, efficiently and enduringly. Many fluid-dynamics problems in the
industry have successfully been solved using the company's premiere software product
called FeatFlow.
Within the SKALB project, the IANUS team will similarly bridge the gap between
science and economy.
